TO THE STAAAAARS
Nintendo is actually sending this image out to people on their fan list.
No, its not what it appears to be, which is a hilariously inept bit of drooling fan-photoshopping; it’s actual marketing.
“Rejoice, hardcore gamers! Our bountiful trove of non-Brain-Training games knows no bounds.”

And by the way – this is what I hate about the internet grapevine, particularly when it comes to videogame stories. You may have seen a headline floating around: “Metroid Prime 3 Outsells BioShock”.
Know where that came from?
Gamasutra posted an article stating that Metroid bested Bioshock this past week. Bioshock was the previous number one seller, all platform sales. From there, VGChartz has their info stating that Bioshock sold over 400,000 units during its first week. From there, N4G used those numbers to claim them as concrete for Bioshock’s first week. From there, TehGamr quotes everyone else, and takes the Gamasutra wording as stating that Metroid bested Bioshock’s first week sales.
