Anyone Know How Much A Dual Shock 3 Will Be Here?

Dual Shock 3Because, at $70 CAD to import one from Play-Asia, I’m thinking that rumble can wait.

We’ve got games out now, and others with patches coming, that already support the rumble feature on PS3. The only reason I can think of for the delay in North America (delays! anger!) is that Sony wants to clear out existing stock, or some other numbingly business-related excuse that makes no sense to players.

Was never a huge rumble fan myself; I like it sometimes, many others I forget that it’s even there. But one in particular that needs rumble is Motorstorm. If you play in 1st person a lot, like I do, that’s about the only way you’ll know if someone is bumping up against the side of you. Just like on the subway, when some girl’s phone goes off in vibrate mode and you just grab her and hug her really tightly so you can verify and tell her that the phone is ringing. They never say thanks afterwards but I know they are secretly grateful, deep down.

p.s. I still can’t get used to seeing this: Shipping at US$ 5.30 (~5.08 CAD)

  1. I don’t care about rumble too much… but these controllers are supposed to have improved analog and tilt controls as well… I’ll probably pick one up eventually. I can’t justify over $70 for a fucking controller though, so I’ll wait till… March?
