Whilst rummaging the GAF I came across this thread (via GamePolitics) about a new law just passed in Venezuela, which bans the sale of “any violent videogame”.
I couldn’t help but be struck by this quote:
Venezuela’s parliament has approved a law that lumps in toy weapons with videogames and bans the import, production or sale of both [...]

…and auctioned for 1.1 million dollars.
But, I take solace in the fact that it will eventually break down, and when the proud owner sends it for repair, it will be scrubbed. No matter what.

Australia is likely to ban Left 4 Dead 2, it seems. All because of a single asshole. Never underestimate the power of assholes. Antediluvian assholes with a q-tip army and a pen. Very dangerous.
Or maybe all of Australia is in solidarity with these clowns.

He’s wrong about one thing: Sarah Palin is also good for one other thing.
